Whilst searching some burial records, I came across this item which I thought I would post in case it meant something to someone one day.
Burial: 1st Feb. 1804 Thomas PAR--RS
Lt. of HM Navy drowned attempting to get on Gun Brig November 9th at Whitstable Bay and left by tide December 30th.
Burial Eastchurch, Isle of Sheppey, Kent.
Sorry, the name wasn't clear so not a lot of help, but who knows, it might mean something.
