Rothwell Family

I am hoping that someone may be able to help.I am looking for information about a Kathleen Cahill born about 1910 in Western Australia, but then came to Victoria and married a John Rothwell,any news about this family would be great. Thank you.

I am not sure what sort of information that you are looking for :)

they married in Victoria 1837, reg: 542 [oops year 1937]

I cannot see Kath's death in the Victoria indexes up to 1985.

If you are wanting Kath's parents names, then that should be found on her marriage certificate.

Fawkner cemetery (Melbourne) website has a John Rothwell who died in 1993, aged 87 - he would be about four years older than your Kath. This death certificate is over ten years old, but still subject to identification rules to get a copy. Newspaper death notices might reveal his marital state. His ashes were scattered so there is not a headstone.

Thank you so much for your reply. I was hoping that there may have been more information out there about John Rothwell,as I do have Kathleen Cahill's parents details.I have since discovered that the John Rothwell you mentioned married a Mary Holland.
