My grandfather Richard Allan Thomas served in South African Constabulary during the Boer War. I believe he may have been transferred/seconded from the Yeomanry. Can anyone suggest where I might get information about where he served?

Grandfather later served in the Great War as a driver in the RFA. His regimental number was 13221. I have his campaign medals for 1914-18.
