Hi there,

and welcome from another (Pommy born and bred) Aussie.

I noticed from your other post, that you think Arthur William Gliddon was born in Devon, but wondered what you were basing this on, other than the fact its obviously a name common in Devon?

There is an Arthur William Gliddon on IGI Family Search, born 07 Jun 1821, baptised 16 April 1829 St Andrew, Holborn (London). If you think this could be your man, he comes complete with eight siblings, born between 1807 and 1825, and his parents were John Gliddon and Sarah.

I notice there is a lot of information on the net about Marguerite Louise Bellairs, just google the name and see what comes up.
