Breachwood Green is a village in it's own right and is between Hitchin and Luton.
It's closer to Luton than Hitchin but, because it's on the edge of Hertfordshire (before it hits Bedfordshire) is "linked" to the nearest Hertfordshire town, in this case, Hitchin.
Hope this makes sense...:o
In many of these small villages, unless the house/cottage had a name (that's still in existence) it can be difficult to pinpoint the actual house.

As that is my wife's maiden name, I'm quite interested. Not sure if I have anything useful for you at present, but will make a mental note of your interest in case I spot anything in my travels though.
Her family can be traced back to Kent ~1800, but we suspect that they may have originated in Hertfordshire where there is a bigger concentration of Sells than anywhere else, but I've not proved any connection (my father-in-law did most of the research I have on that side of the family)

My own Hertfordshire researches have turned up a few Sells in the Hoddesdon - Broxbourne - Wormley area
