Hello my name is Pamela Sullivan and I have been do genealogy on my my mother's side for over four years. I am having problems finding a man named William Tolliver and his wife Elivia Johnson. All I know of William is he was from France and came to a place in the United States called North Carolina and fell in love with Elivia Johnson. If anyone has any info on him I would greatly appriciate it.

Thanks for the welcome. I can roughly put him in the Federal Census in the year 1830 but he was an old man by then. His first child was born around 1815 in North Carolina. That is really all I know about William Tolliver.
