Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had any information on a Joseph Homer born 1910 Dudley (Black Country). He served with the Royal Engineers and on the 26th June 1941 was in the Pioneer Corp No.1948506. I lose track of him until 18th September 1947 when he was in the 81 Prisoner of War company. He was discharged on the 31st March 1948. I never met him because he never came home (my uncle thinks he remarried in Belgium) and left 5 children.
I have requested copy of his war records, but hoping someone may have known him or heard of him.
Any idea where the 81 Prisoner of War company was sationed around September 1947.
Kind Regards
Adrian
