HOW TO SAY THANK YOU

I am still finding my way around the site and have a question. I have had several replies to my posted queries and have just replied as in a normal e-mail,by clicking on reply. Is that correct? I wouldn't want the kind people who have sent me messages to think that I didn't have the good manners to thank them for their invaluable help.

That sounds fine to me - a quick note to thank those who help is always appreciated. Using the reply button to post your thanks is as good a way as any to respond.
