Lancashire relatives

Hi all, I live in Perth Western Australia and have recently decided to trace my family tree as far back as possible. I am researching the following families
Rushton - My family name
Bottomley - My mothers maiden name
Minton - Wife's family name
Gallagher - Wife's mothers maiden name
Lancashire has been the primary county of residence in particular Bolton (Little Bolton) Sharples, Turton, Cox Green
Bottomley family lived Greenfield, Saddleworth, Upper Mill in the Oldham area.
Gallaghers originated from Ireland but have lived in Lancashire and Yorkshire since the 1840's
Mintons are from Shropshire
Any information would be appreciated
