Can you explain what it is you are unsure about, please ?

There appears to only be one Kate BURROUGHS born in Stroud around that date, and the census Elley has turned up looks a perfect match for her. Or are you concerned about the spelling BURROUGHS vs BURROWS, perhaps ? (I wouldn't be.)

Do you still want Charles or Albert BEARD searched ?

Yes it was only the spelling thet concerned me but as you say if there was only one Kate that must be her .I now have the info on Charles thank you
