Is there anyone going to the Cornish Studies library that would be prepared to do a newspaper look-up for me?

The recent thread about an exploding shotgun has reminded me that I have yet to find the inquest report on my ggg-grandfather.

John Martin died 17 Sep 1865, Cause of Death: Accidental death Gunshot wound right leg Amputation lived four days. The inquest was held on the 19th September 1865.

John Martin died in Duloe (SE Cornwall) so the likeliest papers are probably The Western Morning News & The Cornish Times, although I wouldn't discount the West Briton.

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Alan,
thanks again for looking, it really is appreciated.

The Elizabeth you have found isn't mine I'm afraid, my Elizabeth died in Dobwalls on 11 Dec 1898.
