I've lost the gent looking for his Redfords in Canada:o
But I found his rellies-Thomas, Henry, Stephen, John, and William.
They all settled in a wee village called Bentinck, Grey County Ontario according to the 1871 Ontario Census.(Div 2 pg 55 Microfilm reel C-9951)
Also, a very useful book called The Farm Lanes of Bentinck has been written an published by the local historical society. Fortunately, the index was available online and all of the Redford lads are mentioned in the book. In fact 3 of them are featured on at least a dozen pages! What a fabulous find! You can get info on the book at: http://www.bmts.com/~rdc/
Cheers!
