Hi All, I have the 1851 census for my GGGG grandmother. It reads born ? Somerset.
I am hoping that a few people that are familier with Somerset places, may be able to work out where, but it is just scribble to me.
All suggestion gratefully received.
If any one is willing I will have to send them the copy, via email as my scanned copy is too large for the forum attatchments.
regards Brenda

G'day Brenda
If you have graphics package like Adobe Photoshop you can select out the blurred area and save it as a separate file. This would allow you to send it as a small attachment and as long as the definition was high enough the image could be enlarged and manipulated to see if it can be transcribed.

Hi Brenda,

My daughter is a graphic designer. I'm fairly confident that she will be able to enhance the birthplace name. Just e-mail me a copy of your document to ymuseruk@yahoo.com please..assuming that you haven't already sorted the problem that is.

best wishes
