Hello Tyrone,Newbie from Spain,

My maternal family come from around Auchnacloy, Ellen Taggart married Robert Boyle,children( on 1901 census for Auchnacloy) were

Georgina 13yrs
Mary A12YRS
Robert +10yrs
Ellen(Nellie) 6 yrs born 1893,my Grandmother she married "Alexander Robinson" (he was illegitimate,on marriage cert) in 1915, they had children named
Georgina( married to J.Mc Dowell,Dungannon?)
Grace(married S.Gillespie)
Alex
Betty born 1926 (married L Parsons)
Ellen,born 1921, my Mother


I am trying to trace my Grandfather's Police service record,as on my Mother's marriage cert it states he is Police Sergeant,
I have very old picture of young Alexander Robinson in police uniform,but have been told that uniforms for R.I.C. and R.U.C. were pretty much the same.

I can remember my Mother saying her Father had been B Special?.
Does anyone PLEASE|help| know how I can find /get this information.


Also if anyone knows of any Taggart/Boyle/Robinson connections,would be delighted to hear from you:)

I'm going to Aughnacloy next w/end to look up people in RIC, will keep an eye out for Robinson.

Pre 1922?...........RIC.

Google "RIC", then advance search for "Robinson" and search within search for "Aughnacloy"
