Has anyone come across this name...?

I wondered if anyone researching the Shaftesbury area has come across the name BOUDOULEAU (spelling varies quite a lot). The name may be French and the family may have come from Belgium. I've come across a little knot of them in the 1871 census in London all born in Shaftesbury in around 1823-1827.

Not researching the name and I'm not sure of the exact spelling; but as an aside - er, how can I put this delicately - wasn't that also the name given to a pot used by ladies at the dinner table so that they didn't have to get up and use the loo and miss the conversation??? Sorry if the idea puts anyone with delicate sensibilities off their lunch.

Perhaps it's the French equivalent of "Chambers" or "Potts".
