Is there any way of searching or checking if my grandfather was a prison of war. Are there any records somewhere?
I have seen his army records and there is no mention. But the family are 100% sure he was. He had been missing for a while and was believed to have been found in a camp somewhere.

Any ideas?

Sorry. It was WW2. But thanks. I will check for interviews too.
