A couple of weeks ago I was doing some searching through the copies of the Manchester Courier And Lancashire General Advertiser, a hebdomadal publication. Every couple of months of so they published a list headed "Stations of the British Army" which gave the current locations of the various British Army units. This information had been extracted from the United Services Journal. The image is not of the best quality but it gives you some idea of the material and may useful to someone who is trying to track the movements of an individual.
