My Kerr family came from Lanarkshire (Shotts to be more precise)
Jane is one of the family names but I have not so far connected with a Jane back as far as 1810 the closest I have is 1822

I have Agnes Kerr / Carr / Keir born abt. 1828 died aft. 1867 married John FORREST about 1845 in New Monkland. Two possible children, Elizabeth, b. 1847 and ? Agnes.
Husband, John, was a miner in Walston.
