Could sks please look-up census entries for:
Richard Newcombe and wife Eliza Newcombe. They married on the 15 Feb 1841 so may be living with in-laws, his parents are Richard and Mary Newcombe and hers are Robert and Ann Prickman. From 1871 census onwards they are living at Exeter Rd Crediton

That is definitely the right Richard and Eliza and I'm quite sure that is his parents. The Prickmans I know little about other than that they were from Crediton so yes please to full details, I'd rather file them away now as "maybes" than risk losing them!
