Hi, I am researching my Mothers side of my Tree.
My Grandfather x 3 was Thomas DAVIES, born c1825 Ashwater Devon. Believe his father was called John.
Thomas later lived in Cornwall, having married an Elizabeth Yendall, who was from Ruan Minor, Cornwall, in 1842.
Would love to know if anyone can get me back further with this family.

Do they turn up in the 1841 census with other who may be related?

Hi, Geoffers, thanks for the reply.
Yes, I do have their Marriage Cert. I was right, Thomas`s Father was John, tho`can`t read the Fathers Occupation.
They married (Thomas and Elizabeth) at The Parish Church St.Hilary Cornwall, in 18/4/1842. Her surname before marriage was YENDALL. Their place of Residence is given as Marizion (I think, writing difficult to read). I have just had a look at Find My Past, but no luck either on that or Ancestry, for the 1841 Census for Thomas or Elizabeth.

Elizabeth shows on the 1841 census :)
Or at least a couple of Elizabeths do.

Unlikely to be this one - she seems to be a married Yendall.

However, there is another Yendall family (perhaps the William aboves parents/siblings?)

That is probably your Elizabeth I suspect. Bear in mind that ages are rounded down in 1841 and she could be anywhere between 15 and 19 years old.

Edit: I assume you found Elizabeth and Thomas in the 1851 census at Tregajorran Farm? With their 3 children and, interestingly, brother in law James Yendall :) Aged 22, so he fits nicely with the family I found in the 1841 census!
