Les Routeurs. St Clement Jersey.

I have just discovered that my maternal, g.g.gf Philip Ahier, was farming "Les Routeurs" St Clement in 1910.

I haven't yet been able to locate this farm, but on the census it comes next to Pontac Station.

I did find a "Les Routeurs" farm in a census, but its location is St Saviours.

P.S. My mother lived at "Kearsage" Route de-la Haule. Opposite "Seaside" carpark and I know the island and its history quite well.

Hi Peter

If you go to the Jersey Archive Centre, they have a program which is similar to the Land Registry in the UK. They can look up details of properties as to where they are, if they still exist and who lived there. Unfortunately it's not available on the WEB.
