I'm searching with little success in finding GEORGE RICHARDS born SCOTTERTHORPE in about 1823. He died in 1879 aged 57 years in the same village. I have found entries in both 1861 and 1871. His parents were WILLIAM and ANN RICHARDS.

Can someone help please?

Hi

Just found the same George as Karen. Also in 1861 George has a brother Thomas.

On the 1851 there is also a Thomas listed as a servant , who fits the age and where born as in that 1861 census.
