Elizabeth TOOGOOD, mother of Henry Toogood LANE and grandmother of William Moore LANE. Who was she? To have 4 sons out of wedlock by 2 different fathers, and to own property and some wealth, is pretty unusual. I can't identify Thomas LANE either. The fact that they were buried in Atworth Wilts would seem to indicate that Thomas was related to the LANE family that existed there.
