Scottish death records

I have a death registered in Scotland in 1927. The chap in question was crushed to death (accidently!). In the margin of the register is written what looks like:

"Result of Precognition
See Reg. Con. Ent. Vol.4 p.108
19th October 1927"

Any ideas what this relates to?

The "con" you have should read "cor" for corrected.
