There are two main options, visiting a Record Office for the appropriate county (it's also worth checking if the local library has a Local studies Section) or alternatively visit a LDS family History Centre. There you can order films of many Parish Registers from Britain and overseas. The cost is very reasonable & then it's just a matter of making appointments to view the film.

To find out where records for your area of interest are held it's worth checking Genuki.

Although there are many transcriptions available online as well as CDs of transcriptions I'm not aware of any actual records that are available online yet. Other users may know differently.

Another possibility is to buy transcripts of the registers from the local family history society - some have only a few available, but some have hundreds. Not as good as looking at the originals, but often easier and quicker as a starting point. Depending on the society, these may be booklets, fiches or CDs. Some record offices also sell copies of registers on fiche.

Have a look at the East of London Family History Society - on a quick look at their website I didn't spot any registers for Shoreditch, but you may spot other items for sale, or articles on the site, which are of use.
