Swindale family history

Hello All. I am very resently become interested in researching my family history after my sister started. Also my grandfathers brother spent a lot of time researching before he passed away and i would like to continue i have managed to trace the family back to Walter Hickson Swindale with tha aid of my sister but i cannot get any further and was wondering if anyone could help piont me in the right direction. That would be fab thanks

Have you got Walter's birth certificate, that will give the name of his father?

I dont have his birth certificate how could i get hold of that?

You can either right to the Registrar's Office in Boston, the address can be found here

or you can order it online from the GRO website.

The certificate will also give Sarah's maiden name.

Given Walter's middle name there's a strong chance that this is Sarah in 1881 but the certificate will confirm or disprove that.
