Hi
John Broomfield Dreaper, Medical Practitioner/Surgeon died 9.8.1896.
His entry in the Parwich Derbyshire Memorial Inscriptions has the following letters after the entry - M.R.C.S.L.R.G.P.

Could it be - M.R.C. = Member Royal College
S.L. = Saddington, Leicestershire
R.G.P. = Registered General Practitioner

Any help gratefully received

MRCS - Member of the Royal College of Surgeons

MRCS = Member of the Royal College of Surgeons
LRCP = Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians
I think in both cases, "of England" is implied unless another country is shown, e.g. MRCS (Scotland).

Probably LRCP - Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians.

Hey Thanks for the abbreviation help

I had Googled to find the answers and had no luck

Wow, two queries and two answers that have helped me add information to John Dreaper who was the husband of my 2nd Great Grand Aunt Ann Bloomfield
