I am looking for the date and birthplace of JOSEPH FAINT.
He married HANNAH BAINES/BINES in 1765 at GREAT OAKLEY in ESSEX.

05 JUL 1702 Hunsdon, Hertford, England son of Henry
26 SEP 1714 Broxbourne, Hertford, England son of Joseph

I don't see Faints anywhere but in Hertford. There was a 3rd possibility who was the son of Philip, (of Ware), but she shows marrying in Ware in 1738.

I tend to think it's the one born in Broxbourne if I had to choose between these two. I believe I'd try and follow him to prove otherwise.

Other than a son named Joseph born in Great Oakley, did they have any other children you are aware of? It looks like the Joseph in Broxbourne had a brother named Thomas.

JOSEPH and HANNAH FAINT had two other children besides JOSEPH.

WILLIAM born 1769(my ancestor) and JUDITH born 1778
