I recently found my Gt Uncle's Medal/Discharge card and received lots of help from members diciphering it - thank you very much for that. However, I'm still slightly confused and wondered if snyone could shed some light on it for me, please?

Harry Groombridge Clark, Private, Hampshire Regiment, was medically discharged in 1916, the reason given was 'wounds'. Consequently he was awarded the Silver War Medal - no other medal awards appear to have been made.
What does this mean? Does it mean that Harry never served in a theatre of war and spent the two years at home or in India, perhaps (quite a few of the Hampshire Regiments served in India during this time)?
If he'd served in France from '14 to '16 he would have been awarded the 1914 and the 1915 medals, wouldn't he?

if anyone can clear this up I'll be most grateful.

The Silver War Badge was awarded to soldiers invalided out of the army, whether at home or abroad.

The most common War Medals are:

The 'British War Medal' - awarded to servicemen who had left their own natvie country - they did not have to enter a theatre of war.

The 'Victory Medal' - awarded to to servicemen who entered a theatre of war.

It would seem that your gt-uncle may therefore have been injured in the UK - possibly one of the many accidents in training?
