Hi all,
I am looking for Mercer`s related to my Grandad, George Mercer, who was born in East London around 1910 and then moved over to Marylebone before he met my Gran, Helen Brown. Also looking for the Willows from Derbyshire and the Parrotts in Northampton. They ALL ended up in Marylebone. Got back to about 1820 with the Willows but have come to a brickwall. There. Thats me. Phew......

Hi Lisa
Which area of Derbyshire are your Willows from? I have some records for North Derbyshire if you need any help.

Hi Neil,
They were in Ashover, quite a few of them actually, but I haven`t turned up many birth, baptism, marriage, death or grave records for them. I am new to this though !

Been to the Derbyshire website and found a Thomas Willows listed as a tailor in Ashover. Not sure about his wife, as a Henry Willows, who appears to be my Great Grandad, is living with him and listed (1871 census) as his Grandson. This is why I thought I would find a female Willows buried somewhere in the area, but no !
