Hi
I am new to this forum
I have been doing genealogy for a long time and would like to break down some brick walls.
I have a lot of ancestors from England mainly, Gloucestershire, Both my grandmother and grandfather's families were from Gloucestershire England. I have worked on both lines but I am currently working on my Grandfathers family names: HART, HOLLISTER, DYER, STEVENS,
YEWEN, PARKER, HILL, HANCOCK, etc.
I am looking forward to the association with this forum.
Best wishes
Carolyn

Hi Iris
Yes it is colder where I am. but not too bad. We are still in the high 50's. However north of us has gone down to some pretty cold temperatures. One even below 0.
Where is your destination?
I have found the list very helpful so far. I think the concept of this list is great and I appreciate being able to ask for advise and answers to questions.
Best wishes

Hi Carolyn,
Will be visiting Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire and parts of Scotland and Wales for starters. Did not realise you were in USA. What part - we have visited America 3 or 4 times, and have had a ball, whoever unless you stay for a long time you only seem to see the tourist areas.
Just had one heatwave, and another starting today in mid 30's, for the next 4days, and this is only spring. Normally brilliant weather in low 20's
I see your a chef, hard work but rewarding I think. A friend of ours, who is French, and lives in Australia, was a chef in Whistler, Canada and we visited him while there.
Bye

Hi Iris.
Thank you for the email. It sounds like a fun trip. I would love to go there in search of ancestors. I have several people that I correspond with in that area which has really helped me with my research.
Yes I am in the USA. In the West. Wyoming, sometimes and Utah sometimes.
Best wishes
