I have a Benjamin Hampton - born 1833 in West Bromwich - Father Albert Hampton - he married into my wife's line when he married Mary Ann Smitheman on 15 Mar 1858 in Sedgley parish.

Is this any use?

From the Transcriptions of Parish Regsiters of St Mary's Old Swinford, have found the following Baptisms for children of Mark and Elizabeth HAMPTON
1808 7th February Sarah dau of Mark and Elizabeth HAMPTON
1811 April 21st Joseph son of Mark and Elizabeth HAMPTON

1814 27th February James Mathew son of Mark and Elizabeth HAMPTON- a Warehouseman

1817 2nd March Sarah dau of Mark and Elizabeth HAMPTON - Warehouseman

1819 21st March Jane, dau. of Mark and Elizabeth HAMPTON, of Colbourn Brook, Mark Hampton is employed as a Weigher of Iron.

NB The only John I could locate was
1812 30 July
John son of John and Mary HAMPTON

I tried to locate John and Martha or Mark and Elizabeth on 1851 Census for Worcestershire. But was unsuccessful . Hopefully someone else has the 1841 Census and could locate them on there.

Evening Lottie,

Thanks for the look ups, definitly the right family. Some of the children 11 in all (I think) were born old swindford others born Dudley ST. Thomas. When John married Matilda in 1846, Mark his father was deceased. My gf. James was born 1848 in Golds Green, West Bromwich, after that I lost them. Could you possibly have a look see, and find the date of Marks death for me.....once again thanks

Sorry Globug - but the Transcripts I have for Old Swinford finish at 1811. Which I think would be a little early for Marks Burial.
From NBI 1
1st Mar 1834 Mark HAMPTON 61 Worcs Old Swinford, St Mary
20 Jun 1836 Mark HAMPTON 42 Worcs Old Swinford, St Mary
One of the above would be him I imagine the earlier one if he married in 1797.
