I realise you've already got a James T Gussin in 1881 although the birth is slightly out, but this might be something else to consider. Birthplaces are not the same as you already have but...

RG11/617/95/60 - Mary A Gusson b.Lambeth 1852 and Thomas Gusson b.Brixton 1852 living in Brixton. I cannot make out the occupation. No children. Given the possible marriage you found on IGI, is this one worth looking at?

Thank you Ruth for looking.
I realise this is a complicated one and quite involved. I have looked at the one you have given me and I think the occupation could be some sort of clerk whereas mine were all fishermen or connected to the sea in someway.
I also think that the name is Gussin not Gusson as there is a definite dot there. I have put the reference in the file with the other maybe's. I think there must be some sort of connection.
Thanks again.
