Hi all,
My name is Roy and I am looking for my past.
I am in the the U.S. and am working on my surname line.
My first Ringrose in the U.S. came from London some time in the 1840's.
I hope you all can help with info on how to find the rest of the line.
Roy

Hiya, do you have any forenames and approx ages for your Ringrose that went to the U.S? I've had a quick look and there are loads, from all times and places in the U.K.

Here is what I have.
William E. Ringrose, son of William Ringrose and Catharine, was born on 25 May 1815 in London, England and died on 26 Jun 1904 in Freeport, Maine, USA at age 89.
William married Jane Curtis Ward on 10 Oct 1847 in Freeport, Maine, USA.

hello, I've had a look around various genealogy websites but all I could find was a possible marriage of his parents William Ringrose to Cathe Donovan in 1811 at St George In The East, London. If you do a google search for the church you'll find a picture of the church and its location. Do the U.S. censuses give any other clues. Perhaps you can find him on a passenger list, I'm sure someone on here will point you in the right direction. Good luck
Kate
