Having posted my first entry I have overlooked to tell you about myself.
I was born in Wales, but after university I moved to England and have been there since - I currently live in Devon. I am now writing a book about my childhood, looking at the reasons behind my moving away.
I only started writing about five years ago - with no past experience or interest in the subject. I went to evening classes over a couple of years and eventually did a Masters degree at the University of Plymouth.
The book is taking quite a long time, partly because of the researching necessary, but also because I am still exploring my writing style.
That's about all - except that I am 69.
