The Parish of Abberley, in the Northern part of Worcestershire, was an old coal mining area, mostly open cast, and drift methods used for the extraction.

The registers have been digitally photographed with the help of the Worcestershire Record Office, and all the contents of the 7 volumes are offered in an Excel format. Copies of individual entries with the page are available for a small fee, via e-mail.

Transcription has been by volunteers (David Williams). Where there is any doubt in the transcribers interpretation, entries are in RED. The quality of the Registers is very variable. Volume 3 covers the some of the same dates as volumes 5 and 6, but is of poorer quality, and contains much less information and fewer entries. All information from all 3 registers is included.

Baptisms 1558-1848
