I'm doing my family tree and would be grateful for any information on:
George Gregory
Born in Melbourne in approx 1853. He was the son of Thomas Gregory and Mary Higgin. George married a Mary Ann Austin, born in Long Eaton in approx 1851. She was the daughter of Thomas and Sarah Austin.
Does anyone know if the Thomas Austin mentioned above was the founder of the first lace tenement factory in Long Eaton in approx 1861?
