Hi,
I have a marriage between Edward Millard and Mary Harbin 03/03/1820, and another between Edward Millard and Mary Ann Teadon 31/08/1840 both in Cranfield. I also have a selection of children to share between them, the later ones being slightly problematic. There are also 6 children christened on the same date which really doesn't help. Would someone have a look at these couples on the census please and tell me who their children are?
And yes it has occured to me that it could be the same Edward!

Hi Angelaj,
These are two entries from 1841 census, I do not know if they will help at all. It may help if you give the names and dates of the children to help find them?

Hi,
The second Edward and Mary with no children are the ones who married in 1840, their ages match the ones I have from the marriage record. if we can find them in 1851 that should provide some answers. Edward the horse dealer is the other one. I was a bit confused by Lucy Cook, but I've just been through my notes and I've got her marriage to Levi Cook in 1844.
The children for Edward and Mary (1840) are; Anne, William, Jessey, Elizabeth, John and Edward all christened 06/04/1844. Then Thomas Teedon (I'm certain he's one of theirs) 30/07/1848, Lucy Emma 28/01/1850, but died the same year, Edward 06/06/1851 died the same year so might not be on the census, Sarah Ann 06/06/1851 and Mary 02/03/1853 (or possibly 1833). Presumably they were all 'done' at a new church but even with twins, which do crop up quiet regularly, I'm not sure if its realistic to assume they had 6 children within 4 years of marriage.
Thanks to both of you
