Think I have found 'my' Edward & Ann Milward here on 1841 Census aged 70
What records are held and where can I access them?

Records will be at Tyne & Wear Archives. There doesn't look as if much has survived for that period.
This document contains a summary of their holdings...

Page 8 seems to be the one ;)
For background to the workhouse, don't forget http://www.workhouses.org.uk/index.htm :) Just put Newcastle in the search box.
Best wishes
Ann

I found Edward's death certificate. Death registered by the Master of the Union Workhouse.
Question is, where would he be buried if he died in their care?
Tyne & Wear Archive Services have some data - is there anyone researching there presently who might have a look for me?
