Hi,
I'm interested in the following;
Cox (particularly in Potton), Millard, Dennis, Bone, Parker and Cole. With occassional appearances by Seabrook, Faldo, Richardson, Clark and Goss.
I've also got a connection to the Catlin family of Flamstead.
Happy to share info.

Hi,
Didn't know they were in that area. There seems to be large concentrations in Bedfordshire and the West Country and I suspect other appearances accross the U.K. are a result of a few travellers leaving these areas.
Having said that, I'd be interested to know who/what you have. My Millards that left the area appear in Northamptonshire employed in the boot and shoe industry in the late 1800s, but I haven't followed them all to see where they went.

Hi,
I was trying to trace back to see if there was a Bedfordshire connection but I can't find John or Lucy on the 1881 census. I can't find any John Millards born in Old Basford either, or the birth of Caleb, or indeed John and Lucy's wedding! Where does your information come from, and do you know who John's parents were?

John F Millard and Lucy are in the 1871 census living in Tewkesbury. I couldn't find a marriage for them either. I did find an IGI record for John for his birth 1st Oct 1835 George St Particular Baptist, Nottingham father Caleb mother Susan. Caleb Smith married a girl called Minnie I think (I will find out her maiden name when I get home). He and William are living together in the 1901 census with Minnie.
