Looking for information about my recently discovered grandmother Mary Irene Norton b Talbot Inn, St George, Shropshire in 1918.
She left UK in 1952 with her second husband Leslie Salter Hill. They settled in Melbourne, Australia. No trace of her after late 1950s.
Did she return to UK? Is she still alive??
She was also known as:
Mary Irene Chapple or Molly Chapple after 1937 marriage in Devon, and
Mary Irene Hill after second marriage in Staffordshire in 1946.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Hoping she may still be alive. She has 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter living in Melbourne Australia that she may not know about.
