Can someone please tell me under what Corps or section I will find the Muster Rolls of the Army Pay Corps from 1889 to 1898 when these records seem to have been discontinued. Having looked through Departmental Corps and found only Service Corps and Medical Corps listed I asked at the desk but was told it must be in WO16 somewhere.
I am looking for further details about the service of my uncle William John Partridge. I have found his Discharge Docs in WO97, but would like to get more details about his enlistment in 1889 and the earlier part of his service.
