I am seeking a Richard Bawden (Stonemason) and his wife Mary who had two daughters in Callington.
Elizabeth was baptized 24 Nov 1811 and Mary Ann baptized 13 Dec 1814. Mary Ann was buried 23 Jan 1815 in Callington.

Neither Richard nor Mary are buried in Callington.

I think I may have found him in Maker in 1841 but of course it may be a different Richard and Mary. There were 3 children born to a Richard & Mary Bawden in Maker between 1791 & 1800 but again it may be a different Richard & Mary as those baptisms seem a little early to be siblings of Elizabeth & Mary Ann.

Having just received the CD of St Ive baptisms this morning I have found another two children to Richard & Mary Bawden. (A bonus as I actually bought the CD to look for other families)

Richard was baptized 30 Nov 1807 and Betsy was baptized 30 Jul 1820.

Doing some digging I have found the marriage of a Richard Bawden & Mary Martin in St Ive on 1 Apr 1806.

Children so far:
Richard 1807 St Ive
Elizabeth 1811 Callington
Mary Ann 1814-1815 Callington
Betsy 1820 St Ive

With the gaps between the children there is still a good possibilty that there are children baptized elsewhere in the Liskeard/Callington area.

The information found today also means that the Maker family is unlikely to be related so I'm still on the search for the final resting place of Richard & Mary.
