I've searched, but not in the right places I'll bet|computer|, but I'm looking for another marriage for John, and also his death.|help|

Looking for his death, possibly in the London area, also, he may have re-married some time after 1922 as Dorothy died. Ta Muchly.

There is only one right place to search and that's the GRO Index. :D
And unless you have some idea of when he may have died (e.g. was some distant rellie still sending him Christmas cards in 1956?) then it's either 'pick a year' and work either forwards or backwards (if you pick 2000, I think you're pretty safe in working backwards :D ) or else just start in 1922 and work your way through the quarters.
Never yet done it myself, but you could try the Wills (Probate?) Index -the correct terminology and where to find it will be found in the 'Wills' forum.
I'm not sure if any of the subscription sites actually give a specific name, quarter and year when you do a search, rather than just the page with the image on.

Just started to look found this one for 1923 Dec 1/4 John Galloway spouse Tinkham dist Holborn.
