Hello all,I'm trying to trace my Flaxman/Flexman family. On the 1851 census there is a Mary Flaxman living with the Shephard family at 24 Francis street,census no: HO107,Piece 1645,Folio 472, Page 7. Cann anyone read the occupation of Hard Shepard(head) and the occupation of his wife Martha. :confused:flyman? and depmaker? :confused:for me please.Thank you.Kate.

Thank you, fancy that, a driver of light vehicles, never heard them called that before, and I thought his wife was a dressmaker.
