Hello to everyone, as an ancient one who is new to this site, please handle with care, ie I'm slow on the uptake. Hunting down Bannock of Colchester, Watt of Thurso, hardly any of them stayed at home and made things easy for me. So what's new, have a good day, a toast to you all, Derek

Hi My maiden name was Watt, but we came from South London. Grandfather Thomas Watt was onetime Mayor of Woolwich. Any relation? Susanne

Good morning all, for the next few weeks I will be glued to the Rugby, especially after last night. Thanks for the red carpet, thanks to Bo-peep, Jill, Ed and Susanne.

Susanne, I really cannot say I know of a Mayor, loads of Ag labs and one lonely bird stuffer from Essex marshlands, however, I received a file where a bunch of Watt clan who came south and mingled, so if you have further details, dates, kin, etc, I'll have a shufti. Thanks for your time, Derek in France
