yet another newbie!

hi out there, i never would have thought that tracing family trees could be so interesting, exciting, time consuming, frusting, emotional and addictive, but it is. i have had some success but have now hit many brickwalls, just looking for advice on where to look next:confused: most of my names are from aberdeen area, look forward to hearing from you:D

Probably the best way to start would be to pick one of your ancestors who is perhaps proving difficult to trace and asking if anyone can help in the section relating to their address - e.g the Aberdeenshire section perhaps. If you can give names, approximate dates and an indication of what you are after - e.g birth, marriage..., then I would expect someone on the forum will be able to help.

In the meantime, have a nose around and see what is available on the forum :)
