I have Silverstones in my family tree and I'm interested in finding out about other versions of the surname and if they are associated with a particular geographic region. The family are from Prussia and had settled in London by the 1850s. I've heard them referred to as Zelamstein by other family members but I'm not sure if this is right. Anyone else have any suggestions?
