Hi, just joined the forum after being on the old East-Yrokshire mailing list. My ancestors are from Yorkshire, Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Perthshire and Worchester. I live in Canada so have been doing most of the work through LDS church, Ancestry and Free BMD. Have managed to get most lines back to mid 1700-early 1800's. Most of my direct lines came to Canada between 1820's and 1860's.

Welcome Lunguy
You''ll find people are very knowledgeable and helpful (if sometimes a bit quirky! - no names mentioned);)

Quirky seems to be a fair description of me, and judging by some of my exploits around this forum, a dunce's cap would be most appropriate!
