Hi everyone,
I am Jo from Australia, Adelaide to be exact. I started my family history when I was 16 at school. I have been slowly chipping away since (18 years so far but shhh dont tell). All my relatives are from the UK - London specifically. My maiden name is Bearryman and the Bearryman/Berryman/Berriman/Buryman family was mainly Chelsea and I am back to 1767 with that family line. The Branton side of the family most will already be familar (and sick of) by now as they have caused me the greatest grief - lies about names, marriages etc. I think I have found them in Canada but as the Canadian records are so different ot UK I am out of my depth there. Otherwise, the ones from the UK are Shoreditch area. HUGE gap of nothing from 1906 to 1927

The maternal side is McCrossen/Huberts/Daniels they are mainly Rotherhithe residents. So I am pretty much East London. I am confident with census stuff & BDM, but just getting into the parish records. Oh! the Huberts were watermen so their apprenticeship stuff dated back to 1727~ happy about that but that is my only confirmed record.

I would really love to one day come and see if there is any grave sites of any relos...but my husband has to sell his screen play first! I am just a barrista (professional coffee maker) which does have its benefits when searching the net until 2am but wont pay my ticket
